Hi All,
There could be a complication with regard to the kitchen proposal. It would have been good to have Jason or one of the other staff memebers present tonight.
At the function following the game v’s the visiting NZ school last week, Sandy Goddard mentioned the “master plan” for the Pavilion. The plan included a potential complete knock down and rebuild of the facility. I’m not aware of the timeline etc, however we will need to get an understanding of the Master Plan before we commit funds to the pavilion. (Not sure if this is a 10 year Master plan or something imminent!)
Additionally, we need a decision tonight on whether we are going to produce the end of season book. It doesn’t appear that we will get away with it for less that 4 to $5000 (based on numbers Jason provided). We will also need to pay for the design and layout. Jennifer Angelatos unfortunately is not in a position to take it on. We are travelling overseas in Sep and she needs to finish commercial jobs in August before we travel.

Hi Norman, sorry about the delay in getting this to you. I was waiting for our yearbook person to get back to me.
We did our ANU Hockey Club Yearbook for $831.60 including GST.
100 pages by 120 copies. Colour cover. A4, black and white text and images inside.

As mentioned it was laid out in house but surely there'd be some senior boys doing graphic design or something. :)
I'd be happy to provide a copy of the year book for you to look at and take to a meeting.

Hi all, not that I've ever been to a meeting, nor do any of you probably know me, but I'm on this list after talking to Judy at the pre-season drinks this season. My son Joshua plays Under 10s.
I play hockey for ANU and our club does a good yearbook. The girl in charge is checking actual figures for me tonight, but she thinks it was $300-$400 for 150 copies of an 80page a4 booklet with a colour cover.
We do all the design in-house, coaches/captains write reports, photos, statistics etc. It's actually a pretty good publication. We charge $10 for it.
Whether there are any senior boys doing graphic design who could be roped in to do the actual design??
I've also got access here, via the CT, to our graphic designers, they might be keen enough to do it for some $$ in the hand. I could ask.
Any help to anyone??

Unfortunately I can’t make the rescheduled meeting.
I have nothing to report on the sponsorship front. Happy to support the consensus on any proposed expenditure (i.e. Kitchen Upgrade, Gym upgrade etc). Heather will advise on the affordability of options.
