Please find attached the May issue of the Athens-Clarke County Extension "Shades of Green" E-newsletter. This month's issue features articles on amaryllis, weed control, compost critters, and more.

Also included is the program flier for the Athens-Clarke County Extension “Getting Along With Garden Bugs” Free Monthly Gardening Class, which will be held on Wednesday, June 14 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Athens-Clarke County Library (2025 Baxter St. Athens, GA 30606). This informative class will include information on insect identification, biology, and behavior, the importance and value of some insects vs. the danger and destruction of others, as well as tips for insect control.
