FW: FREE HERBS
at the Plant Biology Greenhouses!
Hi everybody!
Kevin Tarner here from the Plant Biology
Greenhouses. I have good news for all of you: we are offering free herbs
to anyone willing to take them! We grow and sell herbs each year
to support scholarships for our grad students. We broke all previous records
with this sale, and now we'd like to offer all the leftovers for free!
Please come by anytime this week from
9AM-5PM. There are no limits on the type or amount of herbs you
can take. We want every single plant cleared away to put more research
projects. They will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis
and we will not hold or reserve herbs. We'd greatly appreciate you taking
them off our hands! Our selection of herbs is as follows: Basil, Lemon
Basil, Thai Basil, Rosemary, Parsley, Dill, Oregano, Sage, Cilantro,Catnip,
and Chives.
Attached, you will find a map to the greenhouses.
Our address is 115 Riverbend Road, but the map gives more specifics on
where to park and which greenhouse contains the herbs. Many of you have
been here before and are welcome to take a peek at our teaching collection
of exotic tropical plants. You can find the herbs in greenhouse #5, in
the second room, on the 3rd and fifth rows of benches. These herbs are
the only plants available as giveaways at this time.
Thanks, and hope to send you home with
armsfuls of delicious herbs! Start looking at recipes!
