Subject: Retiree\Veterans Events Schedule
NOTE: This message is being sent BCC to multiple addresses associated with retiree activities. If you reply, please include your agency\location.
Sir\Ma’am,
I manage the Retiree\Veterans Events Schedule at www.hostmtb.org/retvet-sched.html. The schedule has existed since 2013 and is meant to serve as a one-stop source of information for retiree and Veterans events such as retiree appreciation days (RAD), seminars, town halls, stand downs, resource fairs, etc. . The schedule includes events held in all 50 states, territories, and some overseas locations where retirees may be residing.
If you have a RAD, seminar or other retiree-related event scheduled for this year, please provide date, time and location or a flyer\website link announcing the event. Inclusion of your event on the schedule will ensure more retirees are aware of the event and enable them to benefit from the information, resources, etc., that will be provided.
Also, if you have a newsletter or other retiree related information you wish to share with fellow retiree activities officers, please consider having the material linked to our retiree resource webpage at http://www.hostmtb.org/default3.htm
Additionally, if you wish to add a link to the schedule on your webpage, please feel free to do so. The link to use is www.hostmtb.org/retvet-sched.html or http://www.hostmtb.org/RADs_and_Other_Retiree-Veterans_Events.html
FYI: The schedule and its host website, www.hostmtb.org, are managed and operated on a completely non-profit basis. I’m a retired USAF (33 years) NCO and Army Medical Command (20 years) civil service employee. My involvement with managing the schedule and website is my way of giving something back for all the wonderful years I had while serving. It certainly keeps this soon to be 83-year old busy. LOL
Thank you, and thank you very much for all you do for our retirees.
Respectfully,
Milton Bell
