Sentinel 2 for agriculture : user requirements consolidation

Dear All,

I just joined the CGIAR Consortium as Senior Advisor on Capacity Development and Partnerships, after 5 years as Director of CPWF. I was recently approached by a colleague of CNES, the French Space Agency, about the user requirements consolidation of the forthcoming Sentinel 2 for agriculture satellite mission.

The main purpose of the Sentinel-2 Agriculture project funded by the European Space Agency (ESA) is to develop
open source algorithms and software to process Sentinel-2 data in an operational manner for major worldwide
representative agriculture systems.
