Geospatial/SDI Regional Newsletter for August 2015 available for download

The GSDI Regional Newsletter is a free, electronic newsletter for people interested in all aspects of implementing national and regional Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) around the globe. The newsletter provides highlights on recent spatial data policy and sharing developments, data collection and integration efforts, crowdsourcing and data visualization applications, and RS/GIS impacts. It also includes grant announcements, calls for papers, and links to research on inter-agency collaboration, science and policy interfaces, and the development of web-based geospatial portals, tools, and products. 

The purpose of the newsletter is to raise awareness of SDI issues and provide useful information to strengthen SDI implementation efforts and support synchronization of regional activities.
