Adult Volunteer Needed for Small Group Ministry to Middle School Girls on Friday Nights

Hello Parents!

The youth ministry is in need of a dedicated female parent/young adult who would be interested in being a youth volunteer and small group leader for middle school girls on Friday nights. 

Goals and Benefits of Working with students

1. Relationship building- increasing cross generational relationships within the church

2. Discipleship focused-helping students learn what it means to follow Jesus

Things to Consider if you are interested in helping

1.It's usually best if the volunteer does not have child who would be in the small group they would lead (middle school girls).

2. It can take a long time to "break down" walls and barriers and build relationships with students, so we need someone who is dedicated to help for the duration of the school year. 

3. Everyone can take a role in helping students follow Jesus....even if you feel like you may not be the most qualified person, God's Spirit is the one who is at work. Students recognize and appreciate faithfulness and willingness in adults who are there for them..even if they may not show it.
