Hello Parents, I hope that you are all doing well and staying warm!
As many of you know, tomorrow begins the back to back weekends of the Winter Teen Conference! I am excited for this time because it always seems that God works in a unique way during this time to bring students (and leaders) closer to Him!
Because the next 2 weekends are the conferences, there will be no Friday night youth group. There is still Sunday school on those weekends.
Please remember the youth as well as all of the adult volunteers in prayer during this time! We need to stay healthy and have energy, but above all things, we want God to get the glory and us to grow in our love for Him!
God bless!

"Why would we assume that we are more
relevant or appealing to the world when we present the teachings of the
Christian faith in the most tortured way possible, almost as if we too are
as uncomfortable with our religion’s teaching as others are? This lack
of confidence—obeying Scripture only out of a sense of reluctant
obligation—communicates to the world that we lack faith in our own
confession."
