Hello Friends,

I found a fellowship for anyone who is an environmentalist or an
aspiring one. The deadline is this week (06.27.08) so please pass this
along to someone who is interested.

Best,

Talise

Applications for the first class of Conservation Leadership Program
Fellowships are due June 27. TogetherGreen will annually select 40
individuals from both within and outside the Audubon network to
sharpen their conservation skills and take on new leadership
challenges.

Selected Fellows will receive a $10,000 grant through their
organization to support a conservation action project; funding to
support participation in a five-day Leadership Institute and follow-up
retreat; networking opportunities to meet and collaborate with other
TogetherGreen Fellows; and the chance to establish strong professional
connections with Audubon staff and other leaders in the conservation
field.

"There is an urgent need for skilled and passionate people to be the
conservation role models of today and the leaders of tomorrow," said
Audubon Vice President for Education Judy Braus. "TogetherGreen seeks
to find and nurture the individuals who can attract and lead a large
and diverse audience in taking the actions critical to improving the
health of our environment."

The Conservation Leadership Program is a central part of
theTogetherGreen initiative launched by Audubon with funding and
assistance from Toyota.

Potential applicants can determine if they are eligible to apply by
