cf.Objective(ANZ) + Flex 2011 in Melbourne - Nov 16-18 2011

Hi all,
just to remind everyone of the little conference about ColdFusion and Flex we're putting on in Melbourne in November: cf.Objective(ANZ) + Flex 2011.
The conference is in its third year and additionally to the 2 ColdFusion tracks there's a brand-new dedicated Flash Platform/Flex track with some absolutely awesome local and overseas speakers. It's def. worth attending the conference for a Flash and Flex developer even if they don't deal with ColdFusion as such. Obviously for CF developers it's even MORE useful :-)

On Nov 16 there are also four excellent full-day workshops happening and we'd like to see them get a bit more uptake as well:
- Developing Performant Flex Components for Desktop and Mobile (Mike Labriola)
- Building Mobile Applications for Android and iOS using Flex (James Talbot)
- Introducing ColdFusion On Wheels (Mike Henke)
and
- Agile Technical Practices for Flex, JS and ColdFusion Developers (Sandy Mamoli and Kai Koenig)

So - last year we've seen around 4 or 5 people from NZ going over to Melbourne for the conference. Given that all of us are always complaining and bitching about how Adobe is not doing anything for CF in the region, I'd love to actually see some more people from NZ attending the one CF event we're having in Asia-Pacific. To say it very bluntly - events like this need support from the community to actually even break even. Attending will make you learn new things, socialise and discuss with peers and help making the event possible and viable next year. #justsaying :-)
