Hi Everyone!

Thank you for the huge number of thoughtful comments about this Island Biogeography piece. I hope I have captured the spirit of most of them in this latest draft. Robby also made a schematic Figure 1 as Jim Sullivan suggested, I think it adds a lot.

Please send comments for this draft within a week (before Wednesday October 2nd). 

Peter has been reminding me not to let Perfect be the Enemy of the Good :). He has also been reminding me that this started out as a quick one page opinion piece... I am hoping to submit shortly, so please keep space and time in mind with comments.

I am also including a letter of inquiry with an outline that I will send around to AJRCCM and Plos Biology this week. Other ideas for where this might fit in are very welcome...

Hi Katrine and all the Telluride group,

 

I hope everything is well.

Here, in France the summer is left.  September was very busy, since we add to apply to grants, to face to some new economic restrictions, and prepare the student arrivals!

Happy to read this new and really nice/improved version, I add few comments.
