Hi all,

Our production/AV team is asking about your presentation formats.  Are they 16:9 or 4:3 format … or should they be prepared to support both?

Thanks!

Karen

I think they should support both, much easier.

And please, for the love of god, a decent resolution. No 800x600.

My slide deck is 4:3 (1024x768) just so that it will work regardless of projector.

Echoing Ray, yes, 800x600 is unconscionable, but even 1024x768 (the lowest common denominator these days) is starting to be a pain. It would be acceptable but larger would be better.

My slides are HTML so aspect ratio doesn't matter as much.

Hi all,

We’re set … and they will support all formats.

Thanks, everyone, for your assistance.

I'm not sure I have ever seen a 16:9 presentation.

Is anyone doing that?

Oh, I suppose if they are just projecting their screen, outside of a slide deck, it could be 16:9.  Nevermind

I did it once -- it's possible -- but the world wasn't ready yet so my slides were letterboxed and everything was slightly smaller.

I've seen a lot of them recently. I just got back from a conference where about 1/3 of the presos were widescreen.

One question about the room layout will it be theatre or class room (Tables in front)?

I guess with the numbers it will be theatre?

All rooms are set for classroom.

It’s a much better layout for this conference.

We are currently at 498 total (including speakers and Adobe staff) … so, our Keynote room with be set for 600 people, breakouts for 300 each.

Cheers, Karen
