Happy new semester. The Chinese Faculty Club will host its new year potluck party on Feb 2nd (Saturday) from 6 to 9pm on the third floor of the International Center. I invite all of you to come. We have over 300 faculty and staff with some Chinese roots at MSU. I am sure you can connect with some old friends and meet with new ones. If your parents are visiting from China, they will be thrilled to meet other visitors. Your children will have fun playing with other kids. You will meet the incoming CFC president, Alex Liu and have a chance to select the next one. You may have a chance to talk to the Chinese School Principal, GaoBin and his family. You may also have a chance to meet our new VP for Research, Steve Hsu (http://infoproc.blogspot.com/), who has showed up at our summer gathering.
Following the tradition, my family will provide water, juice, and utensils. Please bring some dishes to share. If you can’t decide what to bring, I suggest pizza or fried chicken. They will be popular among children.
