The OpenBD has a very extensible API too, and our plugins are just JAR
files that are dropped in with full auto-discovery. The plugin nature
gives us an opportunity to try out new things without upsetting the core
engine.
Much of what is discussed in this list makes it to a plugin or the core
engine depending on the nature of the request.
This is what the CFML language has been needing since day#1 -- open
discussion and collaboration between the engine makers.
