Senior CF Developer in Auckland

We are looking for a Senior Developer with CF experience to join
Gruden New Zealand.

Gruden specializes in developing, building and maintaining web
entities for large corporates (www.gruden.com). The role in Auckland
would have responsibility for some very interesting and sizable live
current briefs for clients such as Skycity, Fine Wine Delivery
Company, Genesis Energy, Cavalier Bremworth and some sizable recent
new business wins. Within a mature development framework (developed
over the past 13 years of Gruden's existence), the candidate will have
autonomous decision making on how to bring such projects to fruition.

The selected candidate will work on large scale blue chip projects,
both locally within the Auckland team, but also be part of (and in
daily contact as necessary with) a dedicated team of 10 developers
based in Sydney. The candidate will additionally have at their
disposal unlimited access to a large (and growing) team of
developers in our office in Qingdao, China.

* Exceptional written and communication skill
* Excellent organisational skills with ability toprioritise
* Exceptional knowledge of the Internet industry
* Advanced in Coldfusion 7/8
* Advanced SQL and knowledge of MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server
* Excellent understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript and web standards
* Thorough understanding of Microsoft IIS and Apache web servers

*Key Experiences

* Exposure to common Coldfusion frameworks - Reactor, Cold Spring,
Mach-II
* Must have a minimum two (2) years experience in Web/Coldfusion
development
* Have Successfully designed & developed practical solutions to
technical problems
* Write clear-cut technical documents discussing the solution
objectives and requirements
* Communicate effectively with a variety of people, including clients
at all levels
* Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
whilst engaged in several projects simultaneously
* If not there already, should be ready for the next step up to become
a team leader, motivating and briefing and
leading a team.
* Would suit a candidate who is perhaps bored of being one of the pack
in a large corporate IT/IS department, and is interested in a more
relaxed "dot-com start-up" mentality
