ColdFusion roles at Shift
Che
contract roles.
We've got an ambitious programme of work this year, redeveloping one
of the world's premier tourism marketing sites. It's a big site, with
i18n and l18n, mapping, web services and rich media up the wazoo.
There's a fairly big chunk of Shado at its heart, but there's a more
to it too -- so Shado experience is not essential.
So if you're an Intermediate or Senior level CF developer, we're keen
to talk to you.
You'll need 3+ years recent experience in ColdFusion development,
implementing modern web applications using best practice frameworks.
You must love ColdFusion’s wonderful flexibility, and stay at the
forefront of its ongoing evolution as a language.
You should have a computing degree, or relevant experience with modern
development methodologies.
You'll need have experience with Microsoft SQL Server, and be able to
bend data to your will. It would be advantageous to have a reasonable
knowledge of browser technologies including HTML, CSS, and Javascript
(esp. jQuery).
Your language skills shoudl go beyond programming: to create
supporting documentation for your projects, and communicate clearly
with clients about project status, challenges or risks.
Finally, you'll need to enjoy working with a multi-disciplinary team,
in which visual design integrity is as important as data integrity.
