Experienced web developer required

We are looking for a senior web developer with plenty of Coldfusion
experience.

The Auckland Regional Council supports over 10 websites externally,
and many internal web-based applications. The purpose of the position
is to provide management of and technical support for the development
and implementation of the website strategy (infrastructure), in
alignment with the organisational strategic framework.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and administering the delivery of the Content Management
System (Shado), particularly in relation to functionality and
usability
• Project management and web based development in conjunction with the
Online Communications team
• Maintaining the web server environment in conjunction with the
technology team.

Skills required:

• Minimum 4 years experience in Coldfusion development
• Knowledge and understanding of content management systems and online
trends
• Familiar with web-based programming languages such as; HTML,
JavaScript, CSS, XML
• Familiar with web development software
• Experience in database design and development.

Desirable skills:

• Project management skills and experience
• Familiar with ShadoMX Content Management system
• ASP.NET, Java, Python, IBM Web sphere, Open Source web solutions
• Eclipse/Dreamweaver, Subversion, Fireworks/Photoshop
• MS SQL, Oracle.
