| | Hey CFIG! This Tuesday at 8pm in Hamilton 702 CFIG will be hosting Chris Hussey, Captain of Goldman Sachs' Recruitment Team and Managing Director.
Mr. Hussey works in Goldman’s global investment research division, and is Captain of the firm’s recruiting team at Columbia. He will be speaking about the firm as a whole, his own work, as well as giving his thoughts on what it takes to join Goldman. The talk will be followed by a Q&A. As always, it will be an amazing learning experience and an opportunity to meet Goldman’s most important recruiter on Columbia’s campus.
Hussey joined Goldman Sachs in March 1995. He follows Latin America Internet and media stocks. Previously, Chris followed the Latin America cement & construction industry, in which he was ranked number one by Reuters and number three by Institutional Investor and Greenwich Associates. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Chris worked for a year as an equities analyst at Lehman Brothers and four years as a consultant with Grant Thornton. Chris has an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from Columbia University and an undergraduate degree from Harvard University.

The Point72 Academy 2017 Global Case Competition
The Point72 Global Case Competition gives you the chance to show just how good you really are. If you’re among the best eight teams, you’ll become a Point72 Global Case Competition Finalist, which will look pretty great on your resume.
1.Visit point72.com/academy to register. Form a team with two other students from your university, decide on a team name, and identify a captain. Each team member needs to register!
2. We’ll send your team captain instructions for your team’s submission. We’ll ask you to use a basic financial analyst toolkit to conduct research, build a model, and submit a stock pitch as a presentation and video.
3. We’ll send the finalist teams to NYC on us and pair each with a Point72 mentor. They’ll help you refine your pitch for your 15-minute presentation to Point72’s analysts and portfolio managers.
