Summer Investment Intern Opportunity 

Description: The Summer Intern position at WHCP offers qualified candidates exposure to a broad range of investment analyses including due diligence investigation, financial modeling and qualitative assessment. Due to the small size of the Firm, an intern will have routine exposure and access to the Principals. An intern is expected to: 

• conduct research on the products, technology and markets of prospective portfolio companies; 
• analyze business / financial models; 
• value companies using a variety of methodologies; 
• evaluate strategic and financial acquirer interest; and 
• prepare presentations summarizing the foregoing analyses. 

Qualification: Qualified candidates for a Summer Intern position at WHCP must exhibit a record of exceptional academic achievement. In addition, qualified candidates will be expected to demonstrate superior analytical and interpersonal skills. Candidates should have strong organizational and time management skills, an affinity for the Technology sector and intellectual curiosity about how markets and businesses operate. 

Candidates must also be self-motivated and exhibit a desire to contribute to the team’s success. Personal integrity, self-discipline, confidence and strong communications skills are essential for individuals to excel in WHCP’s entrepreneurial environment. 

Location: New York City 
Position Type: 5 days / week paid internship 
Term: June 1 through August 4 (or later depending on availability) 
Desired Major(s): Finance, Economics, Accounting 
Desired Class Year: Rising Junior or Rising Senior
