Raine, a technology and media focused advisory and investment group, is conducting an early resume drop and recruiting event (in New York) for rising juniors for their 2018 Summer Analyst Program.
Interested students should forward their resumes starting Friday, June 30th to recru...@raine.com. Resumes will be reviewed on a rolling basis until July 14th.

Upgrade Capital Annual Poker Tournament
We are pleased to announce that we are co-hosting an Intern Poker Tournament the week of July 24th.
This will be a unique opportunity for you to discuss the various roles and career paths in trading with like-minded peers. Members of different trading teams from Flow Traders will be on hand to support and advance the discussion.
While an active interest in financial markets should make the event much more rewarding, attendees are not required to be interning in trading this summer. A number of attendees last year were working in banking, equity L/S funds, and even pure tech.
Venue
Last year we had six tables set up in a private room at the Nomo Soho Library. We are expecting the tournament to be even bigger this year - but will likely stick to the same area and venue style.
Schedule
We tentatively plan to begin cocktail hour at 7:00pm. Be sure to bring ID if you are over 21. The tournament will start at 8:00pm.
Rules
We will be playing Texas Hold Em. There is no buy-in but Flow Traders will provide prizes for the winners.
You are not required to be an experienced poker player to participate. There will be beginners' tables - and there is a lot to be said for beginners' luck!

WHCP: Summer Investment Intern Opportunity
Description: The Summer Intern position at WHCP offers qualified candidates exposure to a broad range of investment analyses including due diligence investigation, financial modeling and qualitative assessment. Due to the small size of the Firm, an intern will have routine exposure and access to the Principals. An intern is expected to:
• conduct research on the products, technology and markets of prospective portfolio companies;
• analyze business / financial models;
• value companies using a variety of methodologies;
• evaluate strategic and financial acquirer interest; and
• prepare presentations summarizing the foregoing analyses.
Qualification: Qualified candidates for a Summer Intern position at WHCP must exhibit a record of exceptional academic achievement. In addition, qualified candidates will be expected to demonstrate superior analytical and interpersonal skills. Candidates should have strong organizational and time management skills, an affinity for the Technology sector and intellectual curiosity about how markets and businesses operate.
Candidates must also be self-motivated and exhibit a desire to contribute to the team’s success. Personal integrity, self-discipline, confidence and strong communications skills are essential for individuals to excel in WHCP’s entrepreneurial environment.
