Hi Thomas, 

I am sort of an old-fashioned guy (mainly because I am old, I guess). I tend to prefer face-to-face discussions. Much of what we communicate is non-verbal, and emoticons can span only part of the gap. It's not that I would not participate online sometimes, but it would not be my preferred outlet.
