Hello Everyone!

PLAY DATE
Hopefully, spring has finally arrived. Just a reminder that we are
having Play Date at Meadowsweet Dog Kennel this Saturday, March 28th
from 1-3 p.m. For those of you that are new... this is a fun, off
leash play time for the goldens to run around and play. Bring water
for your dog and a chair for yourself if you like. Very informal and
lots of fun! Hope to see you there. If you need directions, give me
a call at 622-4132. Hopefully the rain will hold off! If there is
rain, please call our info line at 910-791-5001 as we will post a
message by 12:00 noon if we are rescheduling the Play Date.

ANNUAL YARD SALE - SATURDAY, APRIL 18th
Just a reminder that we are having our annual yard sale on Saturday,
April 18th. The sale will be from 8 - 11:30 a.m. at 5024 Crosswinds
Drive. Thanks to Christina and her family for being our yard sale
hosts this year! We are still needing donated items for our sale...
anything but clothes please. Remember.. all donations are still tax
deductible! If you have items you wish to donate and need assistance
with pick up or delivery, please give me a call at 910-622-4132. We
also still need volunteers to help the day of the sale... if you are
interested, please email Alecia at aeba...@hotmail.com. Thanks in

BELKS CHARITY DAY SALE - SATURDAY, MAY 2nd
CFGRR has been invited to participate in the Belks Charity Sale Day
which will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, from 6-10 a.m. We are
selling $5.00 tickets for entry to this exclusive sale... where
everything in the store is 20% - 50% off! Plus... a ticket gets you
an entry in a drawing for a $1,000 shopping spree and also gets you
$5.00 off your first purchase. If you aren't an early bird... you can
actually shop the week leading to the sale...they will assign you an
account and you leave your selected merchandise at the store. They
will ring it up on the Friday before the sale at the discounted
prices... and you can pick up your things anytime on Saturday or
Sunday. The best part is our rescue gets to keep all the proceeds
from the tickets we sell! We will be selling tickets at Play Date on
Saturday and also at the Yard Sale. If you can't make either of those
events, please send a check for $5.00 made out to CFGRR and I'll be
happy to drop a ticket in the mail to you. This is a win/win... you
shop for cool stuff on sale and we raise money! :) If you are

Also.. a reminder that we have gone "GREEN" with our newsletters. Our
Spring issue will not be mailed, but will instead be posted on our
website as well as emailed. Please look for this issue coming up in
April.
