I just moved one of my favorite letters to the new site.

Shirley Winston Johns was finishing up a trip abroad for his health.
Unfortunately, it was to no avail, as he died shortly thereafter. I
like this letter, as he describes life in Scotland...

"Scotland and England are both beautiful, but the climate is
abominable. We think we have a bad climate in Missouri, but it is
nothing to this, and the people have no idea of real comfort. They are
never warm, except on the few warm days in summer. No wonder they
drink an amazing amount of whiskey."

This will obviously be a long term project, but it is where I would

I see. It will take a lot of doing.
