Blaine, do you think CFGALLA would write a letter to the Mayor/Commissioners urging them to sign on to the amicus briefs being filed in the appeals of the marriage cases by Orlando and other municipalities? By Oct 14?

If the County’s opinion mattered, I would say we should do it.  But it doesn’t.  I think this is just an attempt to draw us into partisan politics.  I’d much prefer a letter directed to Pam Bondi as attorney general requesting that in light of the recent rulings, she drop her appeal.
