Thank you to CFGALLA for sponsoring the Third Annual Diversity Mentoring Picnic, which will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. For more information, please see the attached flyer (pdf & jpg formats) or visit our website at http://www.cfldvmentorproject.org.
We look forward to seeing you and your members at the picnic. I am sending you this email to request the below information and to provide setup information.
· We will have a tent, table, and 2 chairs for your organization at the picnic for your representatives to distribute any items and speak with attendees. If your organization will not need the tent/table/chairs, please let us know by Tuesday, January 27, 2015.
· By Wednesday, January 28, 2015, for name badges, please provide us the names of the representatives that will be sitting at your tables.
· Please help us promote the event and invite your colleagues to attend the picnic. Attached is sample language for your emails and other communications.
Setup information
· We would like for the sponsors to set-up by 10:30 a.m., if possible. If you are setting up later than 10:30 a.m., please let me know for planning purposes.
· The tables & tents will be on the FAMU lawn on the corner of Washington Street and Hughey Avenue. Metered parking is available under the I-4 overpass. If you need to drop off any items for setup, you can pull up to the lawn area on Beggs Lane (in front of the school). Feel free to call/text my cell at (407) 949-2110 with any questions.
· We are estimating about 200 attendees. If you are providing items to attendees, we would suggest bringing about 50 – 100 items.
