Hi, I'm a new user to CFEclipse and am loving it so far. I'm
interested in using the snippets, but seem to be running into some
problems. I am probably missing something obvious, but whenever I
create a snippet, its text is removed and the description is changed
to "Invalid Mark".

For example, I create a snippet, call it "test" and type "test 123"
into the starting block. When I try to insert the snippet into an open
file, nothing happens. When I edit the snippet, the starting block is
empty and the description reads "Invalid Mark".

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I'm having the same issue. I would love to use snippets, but this sure
does hinder things a bit.

A Couple of things to try,

Ensure you only have the new plugin installed and not the old pre 1.3
releases and then start eclipse using the -clean

I have the latest version of CFEclipse and still no luck. Any other
suggestions?

Can you post some more details such as what fields you're completing
when creating the snippet? What text are you using to trigger (if
you're filling that in)?

Might be worth enabling Window> Show View > Other> PDE Runtime >
Errorlog to see if there are certain errors cropping up when you're
adding the snippet.

Also what O/S, JVM, Eclipse version are you using?

Cheers
