Red dot project view Icons?

Hello everyone:

Can anyone explain the purpose of the icon or point me to docs that explain what this and other icons mean?

Some of my project show an orange maybe red icon in the top left of the folder icon. It doesn't seem to correlate with anything like tasks, natures, problems or breaks in code. It only goes away when a project is closed but returns immediately when it's reopened.

Rob,

I found a hint on StackOverflow (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5132033/how-to-check-the-icon-meaning-in-the-eclipse-project-explorer), indicating that the different Label Decorations in force is listed in the Windows\Preferences\Appearance\Label Decorations tab.

By trial and error I found the red ball icon turned on and off by toggling CFEclipse Readonly Decorator.

Hence my conclusion that it indicates a read-only file...
