Hi,

I hav ean issue with the new cfeclipse beta.
Simply line numbers do not appear and I was reading on the previous
post that someone found a hack??

Someone has informations on what files I need to hack and what to
change??

Thanks

You may not have this file:

workspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.core.runtime\.settings\org.cfeclipse.cfml.prefs

It needs to be there with this line in it:
lineNumberRuler=true

My file is like that now :

#Fri Nov 14 18:39:13 CET 2008
folding.tag8.collapse=true
eclipse.preferences.version=1
lineNumberRuler=true
org.cfeclipse.cfml.customtemplates=<?xml version\="1.0" encoding
\="UTF-8" standalone\="no"?><templates/>

but line numering is still not working!!!

Any suggestion?

Thanks

Andrea

Have you restarted Eclipse with the -clean flag?

On Windows...
1. If Eclipse is running, exit it.
2. Find your Eclipse shortcut, bring up the context menu
(right-click), and select Properties.
3. Goto the "Shortcut" tab, and add " -clean" to the end of the Target field.
Mine looks like this: "C:\apps\eclipse\eclipse.exe -clean" (without quotes)
4. Apply/OK, and then re-launch Eclipse using that shortcut.

I can't remember exactly what the -clean flag actually does, but it
can help to prevent odd things happening.
It slows down Eclipse startup a lttle, so if that bothers you then
remove the -clean bit again, but personally I just leave mine on.

I should also say, it's not guaranteed to fix this problem
specifically - but it might do, and it can't hurt to try it.
