Has anybody started to bring the code up to date?  I'd like to use it in Mars with Java-8 --and beyond.

If not I'd like to do so.

- Also I still have the 'CF08 Extensions' for debugging that isn't on Adobe's site anymore, would I be allowed to add it into the repository -- in an 'extra' folder or something?

Thanks

Hi Jeremey,

I've had a number of false starts.  I'd really like to do something but I fear it's a bit beyond me on my own.

I'm certainly interested in getting things rolling again though.

Regarding the CF08 extensions - I expect we would need to get the OK from Adobe for that?

Andrew.

I don't know, would have to look through their licensing - CFEclipse works in Mars but there's a lot of old code that needs to be updated...  I think it would be a good way for me to get familiar with the code +

Same.  I like Eclipse because I make heavy use of Mylyn and also the "Filesync" and "Anyedit" plugins.  I have used CFBuilder, but I go through periods where I don't like it (probably just the Adobe connection, which is probably a bit silly, but you know...)

My current setup is actually Eclipse Mars, with Web Tools Projects - cfm's associated with the HTML editor and CFC's with JS.  It's adequate but not great.  I've also played with embedding VIM inside Eclipse with the eclim plugin, which I don't mind, but some days I just get lazy and want to point and click at stuff :D

funny you mention eclim, i've just decided to really learn how it works.  I am a vim user primarily and think running a headless eclipse with cfeclipse will increase my productivity :)  I keep eclipse plugins to a bare minimum, just Vrapper.

So cool, I think CFEclipse has the potential -
