The Deaf Development Programme would like to
announce that there will be a workshop on 'Deafblindness' on Tuesday 16th March
in Phnom Penh.
The workshop will be led by Christine Roschaert, a
Deafblind woman from Canada. The workshop will be for a half day from
8:00am - 12:00pm.
The workshop will cover information on
Deafblindness, training activities, how to find Deafblind people in Cambodia,
and time for questions. The languages used in this workshop will be
Cambodian Sign Language and spoken Khmer.
Registration is free, but limited to 3 participants
per organisation, with a maximum of 30 participants in total. Places will
be given on a first come first served basis.
Lunch is not included in this workshop, but
refreshments will be provided for breaks.
We will inform all registered participants of the
venue for the workshop next week.
