The Deaf Development Programme would like to announce that there will be a workshop on 'Deafblindness' on Tuesday 16th March in Phnom Penh.
 
The workshop will be led by Christine Roschaert, a Deafblind woman from Canada.  The workshop will be for a half day from 8:00am - 12:00pm.
 
The workshop will cover information on Deafblindness, training activities, how to find Deafblind people in Cambodia, and time for questions.  The languages used in this workshop will be Cambodian Sign Language and spoken Khmer.
 
Registration is free, but limited to 3 participants per organisation, with a maximum of 30 participants in total.  Places will be given on a first come first served basis.
 
Lunch is not included in this workshop, but refreshments will be provided for breaks.
 
We will inform all registered participants of the venue for the workshop next week.

Dear All,
 
It's a great pleasure to inform you once again that Operation Smile will be conducting an International Surgical Mission taking place at Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital  from 12-19 March 2010.
 
Our team will consist of international medical specialist from Australia, United States, United Kingdom, Sweden and many more countries. We plan to provide approximately 125 free surgeries for cleft lips, cleft palates and facial deformities all age . Operation Smile  also will provide free food, lodging and transportation.

We would like your help to identify potential patients for this Mission. Please note that all patients who arrive will receive a complete evaluation by a surgeon, a pediatrician, a dentist and a speech therapist.

Mission Schedule            : Friday & Saturday, March 12-13: Screening Days  (it is important for patient to come on one of these days)

                                               : Monday to Friday, March 15-19: Surgery Days

On behalf of Operation Smile, we would like to say thank you and appreciate all the helps and supports you have given us in this important cause to help heals and change lives of children in Cambodian one smile at a time.
