My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
As we all seem to have lost hope in the ministry that we committed our lives after our individual Christian Life Program and Youth Camp, as nothing seems to be coming up on the horizon and there is undue silence from the Governance Team, and as the rumour machine churns out its gossip and spreads stories of dis-unity, discord, and ill-will, it is then we must listen with our hearts to what the Lord our God is saying to each one of us!
He has never and will never stop loving us individually as He " loved us first" even before we were conceived. He is always there speaking through other people and making His plan come to fruition in each of us. As Christ himself tells us, "Love one another, as I have loved you!" and then again Our Joy in Christ is the when we cry out, "Lead us back, O Lord, that we may be restored; give us anew such days as we had of old."
For the Lord to truly lead us back, we have to be active and "want" to go back to the days of old. It is this desire that we are inviting each and every member of Couples fro Christ, active in a household or praying alone at home, or NOT even praying anymore, to come together as children of the same father and believers in the Christ who rose from the dead. Let us meet to pray together, praie our awesome God together, worship Him and cry together for our salvation.
We have invited Greg Braum CFC Regional Director from South Africa to come and assist us in facilitating the "revival and renewal of our CFC Covenant" in each of the ministries and also to help us to plan together as one family the future of our beloved ministry. Let us come one and let us come all to this watershed event in our life in the faith and pastoral formation as reaffirm one another in the life of personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
We are waiting for dates to be confirmed for this retreat which we are planning to run from Friday evening and close with Holy Mass on Sunday morning. The Governance Team will stay on to finalize the planning session. Dates and the program will be confirmed once finalised.
Please remember to fast and pray for this event so that God's will may realised in our community and that His plan will unfold as move into the future. Let us also pray that, as the retreat takes place immediately following the celebration of Easter, CFC Zimbabwe may also rise with Christ into a country filled with hope, peace and love.
