How do I hide .svn folders in Eclipse / FlexBuilder?
Regards
Dale Fraser
There is an option.
When in the navigator, select .* or create one for svn.
Dale,
Sorry when in navigator, use the drop down arrow, select filter then use my previous post.

I saw that, and it lists filters there but there is no option to create one.
Where do I find that?
Not sure to be honest.
But just make sure .* is ticked it’s the best thing to do :-)
But to be honest I have it unticked and .svn files are hidden for me?
Ahh,
Dur didn’t see that thanks. Perhaps it’s because I have view hidden files turned on.

LoL…
I did do some snooping, and I can’t seem to see how to add to that list. There must be a way, maybe it is done from an application level.
I also went and had a look at some of my projects, and some do show the .svn and some don’t so there must be a way to do it at project level….
How, not 100%s sure.. Unless the settings in the drop down arrow in the navigator is project specific?
style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'>
Perhaps,
Or workspace specific at least.
No I doubt it is workspace specific, I use the same workspace for about 25 projectsJ
And I did notice 1 or 2 show the .svn directory.

I didn’t do anything, they just showed. But filtering .* like Andrew suggested fixed it.
As I said perhaps its because at the OS level I have view hidden files on.
I use SmartSVN not Turtle :)

Dale,
To be politically correct it is tortoise;-)
But I think you are right as well, that it is because you have show hidden files as I have that on too.
This also means that the .project file will be hidden too. Which is not a bad thing, cause technically one shouldn’t put that in svn. Only really for team environments of course. But it doesn’t hurt to get into a habbit.
You can hide files by creating a working set.
In the navigator view, click on the menu (the inverted triangle) and
select "Select Working Set...", then click "New...", then select
working set type of "Resource" and click next. Give it a name and then
select the working set contents. When done select finish. You can then
select the new created working set and press Ok.
