We have gotten the issue and confirmed it. We may have news soon but keep in mind the best laid plans and all.

Subject: [CFAST:2130] Issues in wall conduction
Hi, We have a case with 3 compartments while the one on the left has a 6 MW fire. I would like to know how the fire affects the third compartment temp. However, instead of increasing the temperature is dropping, which is weird. I wonder how the heat transfer equations in the wall work.
The wall is steel and every compartment has a vent. Deeply appreciate if anybody can help me with this. Thanks!

Sorry for the delay. The problem I found that I thought was easy to fix was but there is a bigger issue that we don’t know how to fix. Basically, there is a serious issue when a room is being heated by a room that is being heated by thermal conduction via walls. Exactly your issue. We haven’t given up yet but I can’t say I have any clear plan to solve this problem. I will get back to you by the end of the week with a better answer.
