I think if you assign a material property to a TARGET, then you can calculate the temperature at surface or at certain depth.

to CFAST
Cfast solve the equation for an unidirectional conduction in a semi-infinit omogeneus wall. This is not a good model for a structural element: 1) a layer for fire protection make element not omogeneus, 2) conduction in not unidirectional (beams and pillars).
