Any idea about the cost of the calculator??

It costs about 2800(TI BAII Plus)...until you buy it you can use the emulator from here((http://www.educalc.net/324080.page))..it is a HP 12C Platinum

Where did u buy the calculator from?? The cost of the same is 3400 in Delhi.

The prices have gone up due to the CFA exams which is due in a week or two...its better that you wait until there is a normalization in demand....i am still to get mine..the cranes software in blr is out of stock

In mumbai you can get it from this place called laxmi xerox...i got my schweser notes from there..here is the number:9820541867

Doubts abt TI BAII plus.., TI BAII Professional and HP 12c...
which one is recommended more....?
which one will useful till level 2 and which one till level 3...?

Alfa doesent gives warrenty and the rest gives two years warrenty...

Correct me if i m wrong......

purchase only BA II plus professional as it has many extra features that BA II plus doesnot has....For Eg NPV,DBP function and many more....and it is your one time useful investment....i bought it from the Authorised provider of calculator which is recomended by CFA Institute in their website....you can check it...this is their website....

ya they are going to cost you higher than Alfa or Laxmi Xerox as they are the authorised providers....so if you want 100% perfect quality than you can contact them, they give you 2 years warranty...otherwise you have options(Alfa or Laxmi Xerox) if you want to save some money (but can't promise you 100% quality)

i found...they hav two reg. off. at Delhi and Chennai...
But they says they hav a local service provider in mumbai , at
dadar..Rank Elec. (as i resides in mumbai).
cost of TI BAII Plus Professional
Delhi 2195 3585
Chennai 2195 3585
Mumbai 2050 3250.

so..is it fine to buy from Mumabi (rank elec) or from delhi /
chennai...?
and there is sum price diff... frm whre did u buy it...
i dont hav any prob even if i buy frm delhi or chennai..cost will not
matter...

i bought it frm delhi,they told me the cost 3585 for professional,but
after some bargaining they give me for 3400/. I dont know much abt
their local mumbai vendor,but if they himself told abt that vendor
than it should be ok,but if u have any doubt than just contact the
main office and tell them to courier it,they charge only 100 bucks for
that,many of my friends did the same.
But remember take only BA 2 PLUS PROFESSIONAL not BA 2 PLUS.
