Yeah I don't know, delete works good for me :D ... I just keep cleaning
out the crap --- keeping my mailbox size down.

I've re-routed all my catch-alls to gmail so their spam filters pickup
what mine don't -- then delete the ones that get through. What's left
are my newsletters, mailing lists and miscellaneous non-personal
notifications and whatnot.

Actually makes it really cool because their ads and related links are
right on target to what I'd be interested in, since they are relevant to
the emails I end up keeping.

This list and one other HOF list are the only lists that won't get
subbed to gmail.

Cheers,
Erika

It took me some time to find that option in the drop-down.  So far
that's one of the few non-intuitive parts of their interface that I've
found.

"Because we keep back-up copies of data for the purposes of recovery from errors or system failure, residual copies of email may remain on our systems for some time, even after you have deleted messages from your mailbox or after the termination of your account."

Oh yes, that "other list" - "the Danish list" ... best not to mention its
name! ;-)

It's not that you can't delete stuff, it's that it is not recommended under
their approach to email. They explain it all in the Getting Started guide.
That's why they make you hunt for the delete function.

I can't mention it's name actually - might start a viscious cycle of
people who want to be invited who can only be invited by exisitng
members of said list. :P

what is the experience with spam on gmail? I have a couple of email addresses that are getting spammed all to hell that I am hesitant to forward to gmail because I am enjoying the relative peace and quiet.

Also feeling too lazy to train anything just now
