im sitting here in my o so loveley pod.
and i hear the x-army guy in the next pod over, how we should send a
terrorist group "over-there" to bomb "there" soft-targets.

i just yell out, "that's ass-agign"

shit like this pisses me off
how easy we are to hate any thing that is oppossed to us.

how we cant see that there are specific events that lead into every situation.

forgive, or ignore is unthinkable.
lets all get our hoods pressed, its going to be a long 20 years...

man, i do hate this shit.

I'd prefer it if you did not call that person a redneck, I wish not to be
associated with such people through a common nickname :)

What he said is definitely idiotic....but........how is hating terrorism
wrong? Are you saying that before condemning a terrorist act on innocent
civilians, we should first ponder the "specific events that led to the
situation" ???

Please define "their soft targets" Who the hell are they? I think most
people will agree that there are a small percentage of terrorists. So
how do we determine the terrorist's soft targets. Is there a terrorist
only shopping center we can target? Maybe there is a terrorist only
church we can target? Otherwise I think the terrorists are living and
commuting among the rest of the population. So we can start bombing
random civilian targets in the middle east because then we will get a
few terrorists too? Slap that dipshit upside the head and give him my
phone number.

If all those so willing to go to war would enlist I might be a little
more apt to give them their wish and send them off to fight somewhere.
Maybe they could replace some of the men and women who are stuck
fighting in a war they don't believe in but are honorably fulfilling
their duty anyway.

If someone you loved had been on one of those trains, I'd be curious to see
how eager you'd be to "try and understand what specific events" your loved
one had engaged in that led to the situation.

Terrorism completely invalidates whatever cause you perport to advance.
Period.

Are you kidding, that type of gung ho John Wayne will tuck his tail
under his butt and run the other way. If I were leading a patrol I'd
make sure that he was point right from the get go.
