hi there.

ok, ive used, and my client hates FCKEditor. Too cumbersome, the
background (while editing)
is ALWAYS white (no matter what i do). and his site has a black background.

whats the best one? price kinda matters, but i think at this point,
he'd pay for something in the $100? and under range?

any ideas are appreciated kindly.

out.

soEditor

the full version (source code) is a little more pricey than $100 but
well worth it.

despite the fact that version 3 is 2+ years in the making now....

I really like tinyMCE. It's relatively lightweight and very easy to implement.

Well, Contribute does something else altogether. It's great for
updating content on a static site. But, my guess is that Tony's not
building static sites.

My co-worker showed me this one the other day:

http://www.flashloaded.com/flashtexteditor.php

It's a flash component and I'm not sure how well it works, etc, but it does
look interesting.
