Auto Refresh does not refresh often enough

I have the options set to auto refresh every 59 minutes. What I
frequently see in the title bar is either no time or a time that is
well past 59 minutes ago. What I would like is to always see a time in
the title bar and for that time to always be less then the auto
refresh minutes in the past.

I *think* what is happening is when ceTwit first loads, no time is
shown in the title bar (easy enough to understand). Then, while
ceTwit is in memory, it gets "swapped out" by Windows Mobile to make
space for other apps so that when I look at ceTwit again it shows the
really old time of the last refresh. This is of course just a guess of
mine.

When ceTwit first loads, it refreshes (good), but it does not put the
new refresh time in the title; the title remains without a time.
Would it be possible to update the title with the refresh time?

Also, I would expect it to set a wake-up timer for the next refresh
time (in my case 59 minutes later) and perform the refresh at that
time, even if it had been swapped out or closed. If that is too
complicated, at least store the last refresh time (in the registry?)
and perform a refresh when it is loaded if the last refresh was too
far in the past.

Does that make sense?

Thanks,
Greig

I understand Greig, I've never used the refresh value that long
before the longest I usually go is 10 minutes. I'll setup one of my
phones to do 59 minutes and make sure that works first off.

Also can you say if your on smartphone or touchscreen please?

thanks
