This is to inform you that our father Mr. B. K. Palit passed away on 4th of Nov due to Cardiac Arrest. Shraddha ceremony and prasad sewan is happening on 16th of Nov 2023, at Raghunath Jew Temple, Cuttack, 7:30 pm onwards.
As you are aware he suffered a brain stroke in 2018. The after effects of the prolonged fight to come out of it, finally proved to be a mountain too high for him.  He cherished the memories of his time in CET, Trivandrum and always narrated incidents or shared anecdotes of his time there. 

As an individual he loved to live his life his own way and that's the abiding memory of him that will stay with us forever and the joy he brought in our lives.

On this solemn occasion, we would be grateful if you can join us.

Indeed very sorry to hear the sad news. We all cherished his company and have many good memories of him.
We CET batchmates and me personally convey our deep condolences to all of you and specially pray for his soul.

Koshy just alerted me to this sad news. Bejoy Palit was one of a kind. More than anything I remember his happy and optimistic disposition. He couldn’t play cricket but he loved it. So he became the team’s official scorer and traveled with the team.
May his soul continue to be the happy self. And prepare the place for all of us to follow.

Good old days come to mind. Palit wanted sometime ago an ayurvedic oil from Ettumanoor and gave me address also. But I couldn’t locate the place. I remember the days we were in NCC

Really sorry to hear about Bijoy, Have good memories of his company along with other members from Orissa. Though I was in Electrical division but we had regular interaction in Hostel and shared reading material with each other

I used to call him Bijoy Da .
Do you remember my visit to your hotel room ? 
He was special to me.
I still have his ponnada ( shawl ) which he gave me at Kumarakkom.
