Procedures when Enrolling on the ICCE Combined Intermediate and Advanced Certificate

NF-0000094  (2025-02-06)

Applicable to all Regions

Dear Key Role Holders,

We have produced some information on the procedures for enrolling on the ICCE Combined Intermediate and Advanced Certificate.

Please take note of the information below.

Thank you.

Procedures when Enrolling on an ICCE Combined Certificate

There are two options for payment when the ICCE General Certificate plus the ICCE Combined Intermediate and Advanced Certificate is chosen:

Option 1:

Payment is made upon enrolment for the ICCE General Certificate and the ICCE Combined Intermediate and Advanced Certificate.

Option 2:

Payment is made upon enrolment for only the ICCE General Certificate. After completing the ICCE General Certificate, payment is made upon enrolment for the ICCE Combined Intermediate and Advanced Certificate.

The procedure for completing the certificates is the same in both cases. The core principle is that each certificate level must be completed before proceeding to the next one.

  1.  Enrol for the ICCE General Certificate. Complete the ICCE General Certificate and receive the certificate.
  2. Enrol for the ICCE Combined Intermediate and Advanced Certificate but only complete the Academic Projection for Intermediate.
  3. Complete the ICCE Intermediate Certificate and send proof of completion (the completed Academic Projection, SAR, and TMFs) to your National Coordinator, who will review these documents and forward them to ICCE. ICCE will retain these records on file while awaiting the completion of the ICCE Advanced Certificate.
  4. In addition to providing proof of completion for the ICCE Intermediate Certificate, please complete the Academic Projection for the ICCE Advanced Certificate and upload it for approval.
  5. Complete the ICCE Advanced Certificate and send proof of completion (including the completed Academic Projection, SAR, TMFs, and Personal Statement) to your National Coordinator, who will review these documents and forward them to ICCE. Upon graduation, you will receive the ICCE Combined Intermediate and Advanced Certificate.

Minimum Enrolment Period for the ICCE Combined Intermediate and Advanced Certificate

The minimum enrolment period for the ICCE Combined Intermediate and Advanced Certificate is one year. If a student has not enrolled by the time they complete the ICCE Intermediate level, they must enrol on the combined certificate before progressing to the ICCE Advanced level. The ICCE Combined Intermediate and Advanced Certificate can only be applied for once a year has passed between the enrolment date and the application for graduation.

Date of Completion

Please note that tertiary institutions expect a minimum of two years between the date the ICCE General Certificate is issued and the date the ICCE Combined Certificate is issued. If not, the university may question the qualification, potentially jeopardising the student’s placement.

We are still adding Completion Dates to Transcripts, but do not rely on these.

The “Date of Completion” on the Academic Projection must be the date of the last completed assignment, whether a PACE Test, coursework, or Further Credit.
