Iracing Photos

Imade a new paintjob to my iracingcars in TP and everything is fine in races, look good but in my iracing meny (below my helmet) and carpaint section it dont show my new paint. Is the problem in Iracing, TP or windows 8.1? The Tga file is in the proper iracing car folder in documents and the paint is uploaded to TP. In videos on youtube people can also add cartemplates afterwards to add pattern and so. I am doing something wrong, any suggestions?

If you're talking about the place where you would normally paint your cars, then I think I know what's wrong. If I'm correct custom paint jobs don't show up if you have made them by yourself or downloaded them. Only the ones that you make INSIDE iRacing will show up.

Another question is how many racers do have TP and own paintings? I mean only the ones that have that software installed can see others custom TP paints. So is it worth the effort to make own TP paintings or just leave it at the original paint inside iracing as that are what the most racers will see?

I think it is 50/50. most of the race I join, from grand am and proto gt, most of the cars have custom paint. I know caddy and mustang also have a very strong paint community. I suppose you'll see less custom paint at rookie and D level, because most are starting and don't know the extra feature the sim offers. Also, if you join a private league, from what I've seen, everyone is using a custom paint.
