Edmonton Heritage Festival is around the corner. Egyptian Pavilion is one of the best organized exhibits in the festival, which represents Egypt and the Egyptians live in Edmonton, as well as introduces Egyptian culture to all Edmontonians. Thank you for the Coptic Heritage Society of Alberta for organizing the event and managing the Pavilion every year since 2012. As part of the Egyptian Pavilion activities, the organizers are demonstrating the Egyptian history eras. They are looking for volunteers to run the Islamic era section. Mohamed Ashraf has volunteered to coordinate this section during the upcoming event this long weekend (August 5-7, 2017). He will personally run the Islamic era section on Sunday and Monday from 2PM – 9 PM (closing time). If you are willing to volunteer, please call/text Mohamed Ashraf directly at 780-700-3780 to help him covering any period of time on Saturday (9AM – 9PM), Sunday (9AM – 2 PM) and Monday (9AM – 2PM).
