TechFest@CES will not be held this week. Following are some of the events you may find interesting. CES will be attending Google Games 2011 as a team. please find more information below.
NYC Startup Job Fair

Description: The NYC Startup Job Fair will bring students, young alumni and startups together to connect bright, motivated individuals with exciting and innovative New York-based companies. The fair will foster grassroots awareness for startups throughout campuses across New York.

hackNY Student Hackathon
When: 4/9-4/10 2pm-2pm (24hr)
Where: Courant Institute, 251 Mercer
Description: In April and October 2010, more than 200 students from almost 40 NYC-area schools participated in the first two NYC-area student hackathons ever, organized by hackNY.org and students from a variety of local universities. Some of NYC's hottest startups presented their APIs, shared their datasets, and helped organize students into teams of coding monsters to work on projects of their own design. 24 hours of pizza, caffeine, and intense hacking later, teams demo'ed their code for appreciative judges from the NYC startup community. Winning teams presented at the April and November New York Tech Meetups in front of audiences of hundreds of NYC area technologists, and several participants went on to join the 2010 class of hackNY Fellows, interning at NYC startups.
