Convert OSM building data to 3D tiles?

Hi all,

I'm currently investigating 3D tiles and would like to know whether there's some converter floating around, which allows me to simply export OSM building data to 3D tiles. It doesn't necessarily be dynamic as I want to convert only a specific region which can also be delivered as static data to my application.

I know that there it's currently possible to draw buildings using GeoJSON from e.g. osmbuildings.org ( http://a.data.osmbuildings.org/0.2/anonymous/tile/<zoom>/<tilex>/<tiley>.json ) but as there even some examples featuring 3D tiles with OSM source on the Cesium site, I wonder whether there's some better approach.

Hi Sebastian,

There is not a converter available yet.  For the NYC demo, we put together some in-house tools.  To get the latest on the 3D Tiles spec, tools, etc., follow this thread.
