Inserting animated GIFs into OneNote

Hi all,

I'm having problems inserting animated GIFs into OneNote - the animation stops being animated and just displays the first frame. A Google search gives many problems but few solutions. Some of the solutions are long and convoluted.

Anyone here come across a handy solution please?
