Hi all,
We are introducing Google Classroom to our 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th classes.
We have 16 iPad 2s running iOS 9.3.5 (the limit of their upgrades) and six iPad Airs with up-to-date iOS.
On the iPad Airs we use the Google Classroom app and the associated Google Drive office apps.
However, on the iPad 2s we have to use the Safari browser to access Google Classroom which works well (Google Chrome is not compatible with the devices). The issues arise if a task is set that requires Google Docs.
The Google Docs app is not compatible with the iPad so we try to use
docs.google.com in Safari. The browser keeps pushing us to download the app and won't let us edit the doc in Safari.
Does anyone have a workaround?
Thanks and regards
Paul
