Hi all,
A colleague gave me the box in the photos below. Has anyone ever used this with young kids at school or at home?
If you did, what did you think of it?  I would like to try it in the Special School where I work.
Thanks in advance.

I gave mine away several years ago but it was pretty cool.

I think the coding set pictured was an extension and you still needed the base stand and reflector from the main pack so  make sure you have those.

The osmo coding app is still available

Hi Yvonne,

I still have my Osmo as well… one of the best things I remember using.

It really was a great system - the clever trick really was using the iPads camera to view the desk in front of it and automatically recognise colours and shapes.

AFAIK - the company isn’t making the product currently - see this article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osmo_(game_system)

The bankruptcy has been happening over the last few years - and I don’t know where it stands now - especially with global economics being as unstable as they are now.

I recommend using what you have as long as you can until the apps cease to work.

Many thanks!

Chris

Yes as Miriam said that is an extension set so hopefully you have the base and mirror reflector. I used these in school as a station in rotation activities would be most suitable for 1-2students at a time working with the teacher or independently if they are able! There are lots of other sets you can get too I had the numbers set  for maths and the letters one was great for phonics!
