Smartboard Software Issue

Hi,

For anyone familiar with Smartboard software, could you answer the following question for me - If you have purchased a Smartboard can you put the software on more than one laptop for the same board? Have had to replace teachers laptop and need to reinstall the software on new laptop. Having problems.

Hi Fiona,

Yes is the short answer. You’ll need the login and password for the particular smartboard - Promethean, Smart, etc. and you should be able to download and install onto the new machine.

Thanks Chris,

How do I find the login and password for the board. We no longer use the company who supplied them to us. Can I contact Smart with a serial number? Can't seem to find a direct contact for Smart in Ireland. Can it be done online?

You will need the serial number off the side of the board. It's on a white sticker. Enter it on the smart site here 
https://smarttech.com/Product+Registration and you will receive your licence key.

No problem - if you get the serial number from the side of the whiteboard and go to:


You can input the serial number there and download the latest version of the software.

I tried to respond earlier but for some reason my response did not appear.

 

I am very familiar with the different versions of Smart Software.

 

You do not need to contact your original Reseller.

 

There is no need for login’s or password’s

 

Has the old laptop Smart 11.4 or a newer version?

 

I suspect it is 11.4 and if I am correct I would like to talk to you before you put on a newer version.
