I found this an interesting link although I realise it's third-level:


My main concern from this piece is I consider being taught to precis and summarise information probably the most life-useful skill that I learned from formal education. It looks horribly as though it's about to become an ex-skill handed over to AI, and I'm not at all sure that is a good thing.

Yep, one to be concerned about is the use of AI that de-skills our students. I'll be struggling with identifying what are the important skills and what are the ones students won't miss in their lives.

This is a nice article, one even for our senior CompSci students as it particularly shows the disproportionate use of AI tools within STEM and Computer Science graduates compared to other degree disciplines.
